32. Attempt to compile a list of every movie I have ever seen.

This is challenging because I have seen so many movies and I can't possibly remember them all.  I am up to 524 movies on my list.  I think of more every day.  I know there are a lot of obscure movies I'm forgetting that most people probably haven't even seen.  Thus, this is a work in progress.

51. Update and expand my recipe collection and book.

So this summer I wrote down every recipe I came across that looked good.  I have a ton of new recipes to try now.  I tried five of them last weekend: the Blackberry Limeade, Spicy Potato Wedges, Spinach Cheese Bake, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and Snickerdoodles.  I love potato wedges, but this recipe was a little too spicy for me to enjoy.  The spinach cheese bake was alright.  It's not something I would want to eat often though.  The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious!  I will definitely be making that again.  Last but not least, my personal favorite, snickerdoodles!!!!  I love snickerdoodles and this recipe was awesome.  It came from Cooking  Light, so I don't have to feel too guilty about eating them!

83. Shop at the farmer’s market at least once a month while in season.

I went to the Harrisonburg Farmers' Market last Saturday morning.  I got some organic blackberries and a delicious watermelon.  I used the blackberries to make a Blackberry Limeade.  I found the recipe this summer and wanted to try it.  It was different, but tasty.

15. Watch my set of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musicals. (6/6)

Complete!  I watched State Fair last week and really liked it!  It had a perfect mix of music, comedy, and romance.  I definitely identified with Margy!  I saw the 1945 version, but my dvd set has the 1962 version as well.  I plan on watching it at some point to see how it changes.

8. Sports (3/10); 13. Watch all the movies in AFI’s 100 Years 100 Movies list. (34/100)

I finally watched Rocky this afternoon, despite having borrowed it from Andrea all summer. I liked it well enough, but I can't say that I have a deep love for it (Andrea). I definitely liked the second half of the movie better than the first. I had a hard time paying attention for the first bit. I also kept thinking how dark the movie was, as in literally dark. There didn't seem to be much light or sunshine. Mostly, I just liked to hear him talk. I am glad I finally found time to watch it, but I doubt I will be watching the other Rocky movies anytime soon.

94. Make my movie ticket art.

Complete! I found more movie tickets while going through a random box, so I was able to finish. I really like this unique display of something I love: going to the movies. It also makes a great conversation piece!

55. Finally frame and hang my own photography in my room.

Complete! Although this is not how I really want to hang some of my photos, it has to do for now. I can't justify spending the money for individual matted frames yet. I found this frame half-price at Michael's. The photos are 5x7. This picture isn't the greatest because of the glare, but I enjoy having a few of my photos up on the wall.

90. Paint my lamp.

Complete! After several months of changing colors and designs, I finally decided to be simple and just paint my lamp pink. I'm happy with the decision. The pink blends in nicely with the colors in my room without being too loud like some of the other ideas I had. It is also the same pink color that I painted my earring rack. I especially love that my lamp has the touch base on the bottom!

58. Pay off my credit card.

Complete! I paid off my credit card last week. Let's hope I keep it that way!

10. Romantic Comedy (6/10)

I watched Adam's Rib yesterday. I had never heard of it before seeing it on AFI's 10 Top 10 list. It was interesting and funny. I definitely saw where more recent movies have the same storyline. I guess this is where it came from originally.
