I went to California for the first time in May.  I spent a few days in San Diego for work before heading up to Anaheim to visit a friend at Disneyland.  It seemed like there were beautiful flowers everywhere in San Diego.  I also got to drive out to the Cabrillo National Monument at Point Loma.  The views were incredibly gorgeous all along the coast!  I definitely want to vacation in San Diego sometime because there is so much that I didn't get to do while I was there.  It was fun to visit Disneyland, too.  I went to both parks, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.  I even got to ride the new Star Tours before it reopened to the public.  Awesome!

69. Be a tourist in a new city.

Complete!  I went to Chicago for work at the end of April and spent my evenings walking around the city.  I loved Chicago and would go back in a heartbeat.  Staying downtown and wandering around on foot made my experience more unique.  I think I saw more of the true, non-tourist Chicago this way.  Although, I did see some of the typical tourist spots, too.  Looking back through my pictures makes me want to go back tomorrow.

70. Go to Reddish Knob with my Bible study girls.

Complete!  Originally, this task was to go to D.C. with my old Bible study.  That never worked out, so I was going to replace this task with something completely different.  Then, on Monday evening, the six of us went to Reddish Knob together.  So, I thought, why not substitute D.C. with Reddish Knob, making the essence of this task the same.  We had a great time taking pictures, eating, enjoying the beautiful view, and talking.  Some of us brought our caps and gowns to get some graduation pictures, too.  It's sad that this was probably the last time we will all be together here at JMU, but it was worth the drive and we have lots of pictures to remind us of our little adventure.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was awesome; so funny! I didn't like High Noon as much, but it was interesting. The Graduate is of course a classic, but it kind of annoyed me. I've seen parts of Jaws before, but seeing it all the way through made more sense. I also realized that it's where the line "That's some bad hat, Harry" came from. I hear it after a lot of tv shows as the name of a production company, or something to that effect.


21. Read 10 other books. (6/10)
So I realized that I read He's Just Not That Into You back in April and never wrote it down. I'm glad that the movie is out on dvd now too.


66. Visit all 50 states. (35/50)
Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont

Since I went to Maine last week, I got to go to several more states. The northern states are very quaint, especially along the coast. All of the houses were big and it seemed like they all had three car garages, which I'm assuming is for a boat. It was really cold and raining for most of the time in Maine, but it was still beautiful. I saw eight moose.
