13. Watch all the movies in AFI’s 100 Years 100 Movies list. (40/100)

I watched The Shawshank Redemption today.  I was surprised by how much I liked it.  I love Morgan Freeman in pretty much everything and his performance in Shawshank was superb.  Tim Robbins was also great.  I felt so bad for Andy and his unjust treatment.  However, I loved the surprises revealed at the end of the movie.  Andy was so sneaky and clever.  He had me fooled, too.  Fantastic!  This is so much more than a prison or crime story.  Everyone who believes in friendship and hope should see The Shawshank Redemption.
