I watched Tootsie last weekend.  Dustin Hoffman plays an actor, Michael Dorsey, who has a bad reputation and can't find work.  So, he becomes Dorothy Michaels and gets a role on a soap opera.  Of course, he falls in love with his female co-star who thinks he is a woman.  Drama ensues.  Personally, I preferred Dorothy to Michael.  She was much more likable and funny.
