21. Read 10 other books. (8/10)

I took a break from my hectic life and made time to finish reading Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper.  My Sister's Keeper is both beautiful and tragic. The story is so compelling I'm not sure how I waited so long to finish reading it.  I don't want to give away the plot in case someone who reads this hasn't read the book.  I will say that the ending took me by surprise.  In retrospect, I should have predicted it, but I was just so absorbed in the characters and their lives.  My Sister's Keeper was made into a movie this summer with Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin, but I haven't seen it yet.
