The last class was cupcake day. I am proud of two Wilton roses that I made, but they still need a lot of work. Luckily, I already have a reason to practice, as I am making cupcakes for a birthday at work tomorrow.

49. Take a cake decorating class.
Complete! I finished my Wilton Basics class on Saturday at the local Michael's store. I had fun playing with all the different decorating tools. Honestly, I don't think we did anything that I hadn't already done or couldn't have taught myself. However, it was good that the class motivated me to practice and experiment.

I have to say these look awesome. I'm not much of a cake decorator, so I'm impressed. I wonder what these flowers would look like on gluten free cupcakes...hmm... ;)
